Welcome to San Francisco, seriously. I once had to drive 3 miles around Golden Gate Park because I couldn't make a left.

Same thing happened to me in Strasbourg. I wanted to drive my rental car one block, and ended up a mile from the hotel.

I heard the city uses those. Should've grabbed it and gave them a call or just post it up on craigslist. Surely someone could use a boot, like new, barely used.

I'd use a bike lock or something to lock it to a tree just for the irony of it.

I like the way you think. Taunting "the man" though, hmmm.... the NSA already knows you said that. 'Scuse me whilst I grab grab a gas can out of the garage and set this computer on fire. Think Lambo, but with outside assistance.

What is this business? It looks like some kind of super anti-tampering device. Does it blow up on you if you try to pick the lock?

(I assume kinja will screw this up, but I am referring to the business in the middle of the warning label.)

I have no idea. I'm wondering if it's some sort of keypad for releasing the lock without a key. Although there are 12 buttons.
